Nepal Rastra Bank, the central bank, informed that the deposits of commercial banks exceeded Rs 7 trillion by Sunday.
Similarly, the bank, in its website, said that the banks’ loan extensions reached Rs 5.568 trillion.
The deposit collection is the all time high ever recorded in the country.
