Laxmi Sunrise Bank and IFC Forge Strategic Advisory Partnership to Strengthen Risk Management and Drive Sustainable Finance

Laxmi Sunrise Bank has signed a strategic advisory partnership with the International Finance  Corporation (IFC), marking a significant step in its journey toward operational resilience and sustainable growth.

Issuing a press statement, the bank informed that the multi-phase collaboration will focus on two core areas including strengthening Risk Management across IT, market, credit, and operational domains and advancing Sustainable and Supply Chain Finance, including climate finance and innovative supply chain solutions.

According to the statement, the agreement was formalized by Ajaya Shah, Chief Executive Officer of Laxmi Sunrise Bank, and Mehdi Cherkaoui, Regional Manager – Financial Institutions Group Upstream and Advisory, South Asia at IFC.

“This milestone reinforces Laxmi Sunrise Bank’s dedication to embedding sustainability, improving risk oversight, and delivering long-term value for stakeholders,” reads the statement.
