In the first phase, the capital issued 50 million mutual fund units to the general public from August 14-28. During the issue, a total of 82,828 applicants applied for 740, 316,000 mutual fund units. The issue has been oversubscribed by 1.48 times.
As per the capital, given that ‘NIC Asia Equity Linked Investment Scheme’ is an open ended scheme with total approved units of 100 million by Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) for issuance, all valid applicants were provided demanded number of mutual fund units.
