Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has informed that preparations are underway to open the market on Wednesday, September 17. However, NEPSE is yet to obtain approval from Securities Board of Nepal for the opening.
Chudamani Chapagain, Chief Executive Officer of NEPSE said, “Preparations are underway to open the stock market on Wednesday, September 17. However, we are yet to obtain approval from SEBON. Once the approval is obtained, we will issue a public notice.”
Previously, NESPE decided to close the market as per the direction of SEBON under Securities Act, 2063, Section 90 (1, d).
