According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of hallmark gold has been set at Rs 239,200 per tola today.
The gold price increased by Rs 1,200 per tola compared to yesterday. On October 8, the gold price was Rs 238,000 per tola which was also the record breaking price.
Similarly, the silver price also increased by Rs 70 to record breaking price of Rs 3,025 on the day. Yesterday, the silver price was Rs 2,955.
