Swet Ganga Hydropower’s Sales Declines, Profit Increases

Swet Ganga Hydropower (SGHC) has published its first quarter report of the current FY. As per the report, its net profit has increased during the period.

In the review period, the company earned net profit of Rs 97.2 million. The net profit increased by 48.20 percent compared to Rs 65.6 million in the last FY.

Although the company logged decline in sales income, decline in financial expenses increased its net profit.

During the period, the company recorded decline its sales income by 5.57 percent and total profit by 4.01 percent. Similarly, its total operating profit decreased by 3.77 percent.

Meanwhile, its financial expenses decreased by 28.91 percent.

The company maintained EPS of Rs 24.42,  net worth per share of Rs 78.64 and P/E ratio of 13.76 times.

The company with Rs 1.59 million in paid-up capital has reserve fund  of Rs 342.9  million.
