Nepal Telecom’s Profit Declines With Income

Nepal Telecom (NTC) has published its first quarter report of the current FY.

As per the company’s report, its net profit has decreased during the period.

In the review period, the company earned net profit of Rs 1.32 billion which is 23.82 percent less compared to Rs 1.73 billion of the review period of the last FY.

Decline in income pulled down its net profit.

The company’s income decline by 0.01 percent and financial income by 48.99 percent. Similarly, its total income declined by 5.89 percent.

It logged EPS of Rs 29.45, net worth per share of Rs 505.75 and P/E ratio of 28.72 times.

The company with Rs 18 billion in paid-up capital has reserve fund of Rs 73.03 billion.
