Rasuwa Customs Office collects Rs 1.16 billion in revenue

The Rasuwa Customs Office has collected Rs 1.16 billion in revenue during the first six months of the current fiscal year 2082/83 BS, according to Chief Customs Officer Tulasi Prasad Bhattarai.

Currently, the officials are screening some 200 goods-laden containers.

The Office also marked the 74th Customs Day organizing a special event on Monday.

Bhattarai said that the Nepal Inter Model Transport Development Committee is working to clear the debris gathered in the dry port area, which was amassed following the flooding in Lhende river occurred on July 7, 2025. Currently, as high as 250 trucks could be accommodated at the site after clearing the debris.

While marking the Customs Day, the Office felicitated two businesspersons and four customs officials for their outstanding delivery.(RSS)
