NOC raised the price of diesel and kerosene by Rs 3 per liter and petrol by Rs 1 per liter.
With the decision, the rates for diesel and kerosene in the first, second, and third categories have been set at Rs 139.50, Rs 141 and Rs 142 per liter respectively, while petrol price is set at 154.50, Rs 156 and Rs 157 per liter.
The NOC has placed Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi and Birgunj in the first category, Surkhet and Dang in the second category and Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal depots in the third category.
