Two Hydropower Companies Seek IPO Approval from SEBON

Two hydropower companies have sought approval from  Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) to issue initial public offering (IPO).

Dhoodhpokhari Chepe Hydropower and Sanyukta Urja have sought SEBON approval to issue IPO.

Doodhpokhari Chepe Hydropower sought approval to issue 2,020,000 units of shares worth Rs 202 million. The company has appointed Muktinath Capital as issue manager.

Similarly, Samyukta Urja sought approval to issue 4,160,000 units of shares worth Rs 416 million. The company has appointed Laxmi Sunrise Capital as issue manager.

Upon approval, the company will issue IPO to locals of affected area and foreign migrated workers in the first phase and to the general public in the second phase.
