On Sunday, NEPSE index declined by 71.05 points to close at 2,879.11 points. Similarly, the sensitive index also declined by 12.96 points, float index by 5.32 points and sensitive float index by 4.60 points.
Although the index declined, transaction amount has slightly increased to Rs 15.03 billion. On the day, a total of 35,248,000 units shares of 333 stocks were traded 196,158 times.

Despite the fall in NEPSE, the shares of half a dozen stocks were traded at the positive circuit level on the day. Shares of Reliance Spinning Mills, Super Khudi Hydropower, Ridge Line Energy, Suryakund Hydro Electric, Bhujung Hydropower and Hotel Forest Inn were traded in the positive circuit level today. Likewise, the share price of CYC Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha has increased by more than 7 percent on the day. The share price of Unique Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha fell by 6.17 percent on the day.
On the basis of turnover, Ridi Hydropower is in the top position with shares worth Rs 711.1 million were traded on the day. Similarly, shares of Ngadi Group Power worth Rs 520 million were traded on the day, while Solu Hydropower traded over Rs 480 million.
On this day, the indices of all 13 sub-groups have decreased. Among them, the finance sub-group index fell the most by 3.38 percent on the day. Likewise, the indices of the sub-group group Trading decreased by 3 percent while the indices of sub-group banking, development bank, hotel and tourism, hydropower, investment, life insurance, microfinance, non-life insurance and others decreased by more than 2 percent each.
