Currently, light rain coupled with thunder is occurring in one or two hilly places in Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
Currently, rainfall is happening in the Kathmandu Valley too.
This afternoon, generally cloudy conditions are expected in the hilly and mountainous regions of the country, while the Tarai region will be partly cloudy. There is a possibility of moderate rain and snow with thunder and lightning at a few places in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and at one or two places in Madhes Province including the Tarai of Koshi, as well as in the hilly and mountainous regions of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, the Weather Forecasting Division of the Department stated.
