As per the reports, eight development banks have earned a net profit of Rs 5.50 billion. The profit increased by 49.04 percent compared to Rs 3.69 billion of the corresponding period of the last FY.
Garima Bikas Bank tops in terms of amount
On the basis of amount, Garima Bikas Bank has earned the highest profit of Rs 1.04 billion earning a position in billionaire club. Meanwhile, Muktinath Bikas Bank is in the second position with a profit of Rs 942.6 million.
Lumbini Bikas Bank's 'Leap'
In terms of growth, Lumbini Bikas Bank earned the top position. Its net profit increased by 1028.26 percent to Rs 561.6 million in the review period compared to Rs 49.7 million of the review period of the last FY.
The data shows that Jyoti Bikas Bank's profit has doubled (105.30 percent) while Shine Resunga's profit has increased by 53.38 percent. Meanwhile, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank's net profit has increased by 5.365 percent.
