On Monday, the NEPSE index decreased by 34.63 points to close at 2,704.08 points. Similarly, the Sensitive Index decreased by 3.37 points, while the Float Index decreased by 2.21 points and the Sensitive Float Index decreased by 1.36 points.

Along with NEPSE, the transaction amount has also decreased. A total of 10,074,000 units of shares worth Rs 4.26 billion were traded in 68,635 trades on the day.
On this day, the shares of Forward Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha were traded at the positive circuit level. The share price of the microfinance company rose by Rs 164.40 to Rs 1,260.40 on the day. Similarly, the share price of Jhapa Energy has increased by 8 percent on the day, while the price of other shares has increased by less than 3 percent. Shares of Corporate Development Bank were the biggest losers on the day, falling by 12.58 percent.
On the basis of turnover amount, NRN Infrastructure and Development is at the top with Rs 313.6 million transaction. Similarly, shares worth Rs 180 million of Reliance Spinning Mills were traded on this day, while the turnover amount of National Hydropower crossed Rs 155 million.
Out of 13 sub-groups, the index of one sub-group increased while the index of 12 sub-groups decreased. The index of the microfinance sub-group increased by 0.02 points on the day. The index of the production and processing sub-group increased the most by 2.54 percent. Similarly, the index of the development bank and hydropower sub-group increased by more than 2 percent while the index of hotel and tourism, investment and trade sub-group decreased by more than 1 percent.
