There is a legal provision that the provinces should present the budget by June 15 after the federal government brought the budget on May 29.
Most of the provinces have prepared their budgets prioritizing good governance, agriculture, education, health and physical infrastructure.
According to the provincial assembly secretariats, the budget presentation will be held in all seven provinces today.
Koshi Province: 4:00 pm
Madhes Province: 1:00 pm
Bagmati Province: 4:00 pm
Gandaki Province: 4:00 pm
Lumbini Province: 5:00 pm
Karnali Province: 3:00 pm
Far-Western Province: 5 p.m.
