The flood that occurred on Sunday entered the project site, causing damages to some physical infrastructures and equipment.
Project's technician Kumar Madhu Belbase said that a concrete batching plant, a crusher plant and other structures were damaged in the flooding.
Likewise, the access route to the project site was damaged in different sections while the drum, pipe and other materials of the project were flooded, according to Belbase.
A junior police official said that the project could have witnessed damages of properties worth Rs 10 million as per the preliminary estimates.
The project of 42 megawatts was initiated nearly two years ago.
Meanwhile, the flood also washed away a suspension bridge over the Kimrung river. (RSS)
