Leaders, including CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokhrel, raised serious concerns over the absence and inaction of the Prime Minister and Home Minister during the crisis, questioning the government's crowd control and security measures.
The attendees emphasized the urgent need for local-level dialogue and conflict resolution to prevent religious and social disharmony from spreading to other regions.
