On the day, the NEPSE index decreased by 16.29 points to close at 2672.58 points. Likewise, the Sensitive Index decreased by 2.31 points, the Float Index by 0.97 points and the Sensitive Float Index by 0.77 points.
Along with index, the transaction amount has also decreased. A total of 7,548,591 units of shares worth Rs 3.38 billion were traded in 44,651 trades on the day.
Today, shares of Everest Color Company were traded at the positive circuit level for the ninth consecutive trading day. The company's share price rose by Rs 148.50 to Rs 1,138.60 on the day. Meanwhile, shares of Kalinchowk Hydropower fell by 14.99 percent on the day and the share price of Corporate Development Bank fell by more than 12.5 percent on the day.
On the basis of turnover, Reliance Spinning Mills topped the list with trade worth Rs 243.8 million. Similarly, shares of Corporate Development Bank worth Rs 155 million were traded on the day, while the turnover of Ridi Power Company crossed Rs 105 million.
On this day, the indices of all 13 sub-groups have decreased. Among them, the hydropower sub-group index decreased the most by 1.20 percent. Likewise, the development bank sub-group index decreased by more than 1 percent while the decline rate of other sub-groups was less than 1 percent.
