By the end of the last FY, the company had earned a net profit of Rs 193.2 million. This is an increase of 1036.46 percent i.e. more than 10 times compared to Rs 17 million of of the previous FY. The net interest income of the microfinance company increased to Rs 497.4 million from Rs 355.9 million in the previous FY.
During the period, its operating profit increased to Rs 276.1 million from Rs 22.3 million due to reduction in provision for bad loans and increase in income. A significant increase in the distributable profit has also opened the way for attractive dividends for investors. After the regulatory adjustment, the distributable profit of the microfinance company has reached Rs 165 million in the review period. Based on the paid-up capital, the distributable profit per share has been Rs 42.58, reflecting the company's strong dividend capacity in the current fiscal year.
The company with a paid-up capital of Rs 387.4 million has total reserve fund of Rs 495.6 million . Deposits and loans from members increased from Rs. 3.74 billion to Rs. 5.50 billion and loans to customers increased from Rs. 5.11 billion to Rs. 6.17 billion.
The total assets of the microfinance company increased from Rs 5.69 billion to Rs 6.66 billion. The more than 10-fold jump in net profit, earnings per share to Rs 49.88 and decline in NPA from 12.16 percent to 9.80 percent show that the business efficiency of the company has improved.
