As per the notice published by NEPSE, a preliminary memorandum of understanding (MOU) regarding the merger was signed between the two listed companies.
First Microfinance, which has its head office in Gyaneshwor, Kathmandu, has paid-up capital of Rs 1.34 billion. On the other hand, Mahila Laghubitta, which has its central office in Banepa, has a paid-up capital of Rs 217.5 million.
The swap ratio between the two institutions will be determined through due deligence report.
