On Tuesday, the NEPSE index increased by 0.79 points to close at 2,641.85 points. Likewise, the Sensitive Index has increased by 0.85 points, while the Float Index has increased by 0.17 points and the Sensitive Float Index has increased by 0.30 points.
Along with index, the transaction amount has also increased on this day. A total of 9,534,221 units of shares worth Rs 4.11 billion were traded in 52,073 trades on the day.
On the day, shares of Upper Lohore Khola Hydropower Company were traded at positive circuit level . The company's share price rose by Rs 56.90 to Rs 436.60 on the day. The growth rate of the remaining stocks is less than 6 percent. Meanwhile, the share price of Mahila Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha fell by 14.91 percent on the day.
On the basis of turnover, Solu Hydropower topped the list on the day. Solu Hydropowe recorded trade worth Rs 448.7 million. Similarly, the turnover of Ridi Power Company crossed Rs 335 million while the shares of Ngadi Group Power were traded at Rs 180 million.
Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of six sub-groups have increased while the indices of seven sub-groups have decreased. Banking, hotel and tourism, hydropower, investment, life insurance and other sub-group indices increased slightly.
