With the agreement, the agencies have postponed all the protest programs.
Hari Dangi, General Secretary of Nepal Association of Foreign Employment Entrepreneurs, said the agencies would operate their offices regularly from tomorrow. The agencies had announced to shut down their offices and stop sending workers citing unmet demands.
The agencies had demanded fixation of service charge and withdrawal of action taken by the department. An agreement has been reached between the Ministry and the Association to address the demands through amendment to the Foreign Employment Act and Regulations.
The association has been organizing agitation and attention programmes since August 7 putting forth a 15-point demand.
