NEPSE Index positive after six trading days

On the second trading day of the week, the NEPSE index closed positively. The index, which has been declining for the last 6 days, closed with a marginal gain on the day.

On Tuesday, the NEPSE index increased by 9.24 points to close at 2,522.66 points. Likewise, the Sensitive Index increased by 1.72 points, while the Float Index increased by 0.72 points and the Sensitive Float Index increased by 0.65 points.

Despite the rise in index, the transaction volume has decreased. A total of 7,613,681 unitsof  shares worth Rs 2,90 million were traded in 48,341 trades on the previous trading day.

On the day, share price of Upper Mailung Khola Hydropower Company was the increased highest percentage of 7.15. Similarly, the share price of MBL Equity Fund has increased by 6 percent and the share price of Emerging Nepal has increased by 5 percent.  Meanwhile, the share price of Upkar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha fell by 8.48 percent on the day.

On the basis of turnover, Solu Hydropower is at the top position on the day. Shares worth Rs 138.2 million were traded on the day. Similarly, shares of Shivam Cement worth Rs 135 million were traded on the day, while Ankhukhola Hydropower Company had a turnover of Rs 100 million.

Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of 12 sub-groups have increased while the indices of one sub-group have decreased. The hydropower sub-group index increased the most by 1.01 percent on the day. However, the production and processing sub-group index decreased the most by 1.00 percent on the day.




Gold Price Continues to Decline, Silver Stable
