NEPSE Index continues to rise, transaction volume also rises

On Wednesday, the NEPSE index has increased slightly. On this day, the NEPSE index increased by 15.44 points to close at 2538.11 points.

 

Likewise, the Sensitive Index has increased by 3.02 points, while the Float Index has increased by 1.22 points and the Sensitive Float Index has increased by 1.17 points.

Along with index, the transaction amount has also increased on this day. A total of 7,268,202 shares worth Rs 2.94 billion were traded in 39,673 trades on the day.

Meanwhile, shares of Upkar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha rose by 11.87 percent on the day. Similarly, the share price of Upper Mailung Khola Hydropower increased by more than 10 percent while the share price of Atma Nirbhar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha increased by more than 10 percent. The price of NMB Energy Bond, which was traded 4 percent in 2093/94, fell the most by 5.81 percent on the day.

On the basis of transaction volume, Sanima Middle Tamor Hydropower topped the list on the day. The company's shares worth Rs 141.7 million were traded on the day. Similarly, shares worth Rs 125 million of NRN Infrastructure and Development were traded on this day, while the turnover of Solu Hydropower has crossed Rs 120 million.

Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of 11 sub-groups have increased while the indices of two sub-groups have decreased. The hydropower sub-group index increased the most by 0.95 percent on the day. The indices of mutual funds and non-life insurance sub-groups posted a modest decrease.
