On Tuesday, the NEPSE index decreased by 36.25 points to close at 2,618.03 points. Likewise, the Sensitive Index decreased by 6.33 points, while the Float Index decreased by 2.60 points and the Sensitive Float Index decreased by 2.19 points.
The transaction amount has also decreased on this day. A total of 21,622,728 units of shares worth Rs 6,3 billion were traded in 57,947 trades on the day.
Today, the share price of Dhaulagiri Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha traded at a positive circuit level. The company's share price rose by Rs 175 to Rs 1,341.90 on the day. Other stocks are trading below 5.5 per cent. Meanwhile, shares of First Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha fell the most by 8.54 percent on the day.
On the basis of turnover, Shivam Cements topped the list on the day. Shares worth Rs 383.4 million were traded on the day. Similarly, shares of Reliance Spinning Mills worth Rs 210 million were traded on the day, while Himalayan Distillery had a turnover of Rs 205 million.
On this day, the indices of all 13 sub-groups have decreased. Among them, the life insurance sub-group index decreased the most by 2.04 percent. Likewise, the indices of banking, development banks, finance, hydropower, investment, microfinance, non-life insurance, others and trading sub-groups decreased by more than 1 percent today.
