On this day, the NEPSE index increased by 0.26 points to close at 2599.15 points. Likewise, the Sensitive Index has increased by 0.14 points, while the Float Index has increased by 0.15 points and the Sensitive Float Index has increased by 0.12 points.
Along with index, the transaction amount has also increased on this day. A total of 12,065,555 shares worth Rs 4.89 billion were traded in 51,745 trades on the day.
On the day, share price of Sindhu Bikas Bank was the biggest gainer of 10.81 percent . Similarly, the share price of Corporate Development Bank increased by 9.5 percent and the share price of Emerging Nepal increased by more than 7.5 percent. Meanwhile, shares of Sayapatri Hydropower fell the most by 9.66 percent on the day.
On the basis of turnover, Siddhartha Bank topped the list on this day. Its shares worth Rs 305.3 million were traded on the day. Similarly, shares of Api Power Company worth Rs 228.17 million were traded on this day, while shares of Hathway Investment worth Rs 219.61 million were traded.
Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of four sub-groups have increased while the indices of eight sub-groups have decreased. Banking, development banks, finance and hydropower sub-group indices increased marginally on the day. The index of the investment sub-group decreased by 1.05 percent on the day.
