Minister for Agriculture, Forest, and Environment Geeta Chaudhary approved the procedures for providing the grant to sugarcane-producing farmers as an incentive on Thursday, Minster's personal secretariat shared.
The ministry stated that the grant assistance will be distributed to farmers in Bardia, Rautahat, Kailali, and Kanchanpur.
The government has been providing sugarcane farmers with Rs 70 rupees per quintal as an annual grant.(RSS)
