Likewise, the Sensitive Index decreased by 0.54 points, while the Float Index decreased by 0.36 points and the Sensitive Float Index decreased by 0.17 points.
Although the NEPSE index decreased, the transaction volume has increased on this day. A total of 22,862,554 units of shares worth Rs 8.89 billion were traded in 74,053 trades on the day.
Today, shares of Beni Hydropower were traded at a positive circuit level as well. The company's share price rose by Rs 92.50 to close at Rs 709.70 on the day. Likewise, the share price of Swabhiman Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha increased by more than 12 percent and the share price of Lumbini Bikas Bank increased by 7 percent. Meanwhile, shares of Menchiam Hydropower fell the most by 4.08 percent on the day.
On the basis of turnover, Lumbini Bikas Bank topped the list on the day. Its shares worth Rs 384.8 million were traded on the day. Similarly, shares of Shivam Cements crossed Rs 300 million while Ghalemdi Hydro traded around Rs 279.74 million.
Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of five sub-groups have increased while the indices of eight sub-groups have decreased. The index of the development bank sub-group increased by 1.61 percent on the day. Likewise, the indices of mutual funds, non-life insurance, others and business sub-groups increased on the day.
