Commercial Banks Prices at 1881.45 NEPSE Index and Now

Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd. (NEPSE) made its highest closing index on 27 July 2016 and the closing index was 1881.45. The latest NEPSE closing is 1477.14 on Sunday, so there is a difference of 404.31 NEPSE points and it is being a year and a month NEPSE recorded its highest closing. No doubt listed scrips have the highest price at the highest index and low price at the lower index, here is the commercial banks' price at the 1881.45 index comparing it with the current lower latest closing index.

Here is the price difference percentage (%) of commercial banks between the latest closing index and NEPSE at 1881.45 index.

Nepal Bangladesh Bank Limited (NBB) has the highest price difference percent of 72.11%. NBB price closed at Rs.1,022/- on the 1881.45 index while its Last Trading Price (LTP) is Rs.285/-. But it’s not the free fall price of NBB, there is price adjustment of 32% bonus and 10:8 right share on the Fiscal Year (FY) 72/73 as well as 12% bonus share on the Fiscal Year 73/74.

It’s not the free fall price of commercial bank, in between there is also the price adjustment may be of bonus or right of FY 72/73 and 73/74 depends on each commercial bank.
