Prime Bank endorses 27% Bonus Share

The 10th annual general meeting (AGM)  of Prime Commercial Bank (PCBL) has endorsed a proposal of distributing 27 percent bonus share worth Rs 1.70 billion on January 9.

 

 The AGM that was conducted in Tribhuwan Army Officers Club, Bhadrakali elected Gajendra Bista as director from general shareholders.

The bank closed its book on December 20, thus, the shareholders registered in its book by December 19 are eligible to obtain the bonus share. The bank that has a paid-up capital of Rs 6.32 billion will raise the capital to Rs 8.03 billion after the bonus share distribution.

Previously, the bank acquired Biratlaxmi Bikas Bank and Country Development Bank. The shareholders who acquired its share after April 30 will have to pay capital gain tax by themselves to receive the bonus share.
