Net Profit of Butwal Power Decreases

The net profit of Butwal Power (BPCL) has decreased by Rs 25.7 million in the third quarter of the current FY compared to the corresponding period of the last FY. The company that earned Rs 657.7 million net profit in the review period of the last FY has earned Rs 683.5 million in the corresponding period of the current FY.

During the period, the earning of the company through the sale of electricity also reduced to Rs 535 million down Rs 7.1 million from the corresponding period of the last FY. Similarly, its operating profit also decreased to Rs 340 million.

The company earned Rs 496 million dividend from Himal Power.

Likewise, the company raised its reserve fund to Rs 4.64 billion from Rs 2.33 billion. The EPS of the bank decreased to Rs 36.33 from Rs 37.75. it has net worth per share of Rs 356.76 and P/E ratio of 12.55 times.
