Karnali Development Bank in Profit; EPS Rs 0.98

Karnali Development Bank (KRBL) has earned a net profit of Rs 4.9 million in the second quarter of the current FY compared to Rs 12.2 million loss of the corresponding period of the last FY.

The bank with Rs 502.8 million in paid-up capital has reserve fund of Rs 49.8 million. In the review period, the bank collected deposit of Rs 2.86 billion and extended loan of Rs 1.83 billion.

During the period, the bank earned a net interest income of Rs 38.4 million. The bank increased the interest income by 82.4 percent in the review period.

The bank has bad debt ratio of 2.97 percent, EPS of Rs 0.98, net worth per share of Rs 109.92 and P/E ratio of 108.27 times.
