United Modi Increases Net Profit

United Modi Hydropower (UMHL) has earned a net profit of Rs 55.5 million in the second quarter of the current FY. The net profit increased by 1.06 percent compared to Rs 54.9 million of the corresponding period of the last FY.

During the period, the company increased its income by Rs 278,000 to Rs 168.3 million. Moreover, the company earned Rs 3.3 million in other income while it spent Rs 10.3 million in employee expenses, Rs 18.4 million in other operating expenses, Rs 43.3 million in financial cost and Rs 37.1 million in depreciation.

The company with Rs 1.15 billion in paid-up capital has reserve fund of Rs 69.2 million, EPS of Rs 9.65 and net worth per share of Rs 106.02.
