Sahara Bikas Bank Earns Net Profit of Rs 11.5 Million

Sahara Bikas Bank (SHBL) has earned a net profit of Rs 11.5 million in the second quarter of the current FY compared to Rs 8.5 million of the corresponding period of the last FY.

During the period, the bank increased its paid-up capital to Rs 163.3 million and has maintained reserve fund of Rs 47 million and EPS of Rs 7.05.

In the review period, the bank collected deposit of Rs 688.4 million and extended loan of Rs 593.4 million. Similarly, it's bad debt ratio decreased to 1.36 percent from earlier 2.61 percent.

During the period, the bank earned Rs 15.6 million in net interest income and other operating income to Rs 11.5 million.
