Net Profit of Unilever Increases 110%

Unilever Nepal (UNL) has earned a net profit of Rs 320.7 million in the second quarter of the current FY. The net profit increased by 109.60 percent i.e. Rs 167.7 million compared to Rs 153 million of the second quarter of the current FY.

The company having a stock price of Rs 19,621 has EPS of Rs 348. In the review period of the last FY, the EPS was Rs 166.

In the review period, the company sold merchandise worth Rs 1.24 billion and earned income from other source of Rs 146.3 million. In the review period of the last FY, the company sold merchandise worth Rs 1.02 billion.

The company decreased its advertisement expenses by Rs 26.8 million to Rs 236.2 million from earlier Rs 273 million.

The company with Rs 92.1 million in paid-up capital has reserve fund of Rs 1.81 billion. The company has net worth per share of Rs 2,079 and P/E ratio of 17.96 times.
