NAV of Laxmi Value Fund and Laxmi Equity Fund Increases

The net asset value (NAV) of both Laxmi Value Fund and Laxmi Equity Fund has increased in the month of Falgun. Both funds are being operated by Laxmi Capital and promoted by Laxmi Bank.

The NAV of Laxmi Value Fund-1 increased by Rs 0.19 to Rs 10.90 while that of Laxmi Equity Fund increased by 0.10 to Rs 8.65 in the month of Falgun.

Laxmi Value Fund-1 (LVF1)

The NAV of Laxmi Value Fund-1 increased to Rs 10.90 in the month of Falgun compared to Rs 10.71 in the month of Magh.

The fund, operated with a value of Rs 500 million, has net asset of Rs 545.9 million in Falgun. In the month of Magh, the net asset was Rs 535.6 million. The net asset increased by Rs 10.3 million in the review period.

The fund invested Rs 321.8 million in listed stocks in Falgun compared to Rs 7 million of Magh.

The fund invested the highest amount of Rs 30.8 million in promoter shares of Nabil Bank. Similarly, it invested Rs 50 million in fixed deposit and bank deposit of Rs 167.2 million.

The total loss of the fund is at Rs 98 million in Falgun that is decreased by Rs 9.4 million compared to Magh.

Laxmi Equity Fund (LEMF)

Similarly, the NAV of Laxmi Equity Fund increased by Rs 0.10 to Rs 8.65 in Falgun compared to Rs 8.55 in Magh.

The fund, operated with a value of Rs 1.25 billion, recorded net asset of Rs 1.08 billion in Falgun compared to Rs 1.06 billion in Magh.

The fund invested Rs 822.4 million in listed stocks and Rs 10 million in public issue.

The fund invested the highest amount in stock of Nepal Telecom totaling Rs 41.8 million. It maintained fixed deposit of Rs 60 million and deposit of Rs 185.4 million.

In the month of Falgun, the fund incurred total loss of Rs 217.4 million which improved by Rs 13.2 million compared to the month of Magh.
