Net Profit of Samata Laghubitta Increases 311.41%

Samata Laghubitta (SMATA) has increased its net profit by 311.41 percent to Rs 14.8 million in the third quarter of the current FY compared to Rs 3.6 million of the corresponding period of the last FY.

The huge increase in its net profit has bounced its EPS to Rs 34.81 compared to Rs 12.69 of the review period of the last FY.

The company with Rs 56.8 million in paid-up capital has reserve fund of Rs 54.7 million. The company collected deposit of Rs 441.9 million, borrowed Rs 728.9 million and extended loan of Rs 1.23 billion during the period.

Samata earned net interest income of Rs 47.4 million compared to Rs 27.8 million of the last FY. the company logged bad debt to 1.14 percent, net worth per share of Rs 196.31 and P/E ratio of 34.48 times.
