Net Profit of United Modi Increases

United Modi (UMHL) has earned a net profit of Rs 58.5 million in the third quarter of the current FY. the net profit increased by 3.7 percent compared to Rs 56.4 million of the corresponding period of the last FY.

In the review period, the company earned Rs 230.5 million through sale of electricity. In the review period of the last FY, the income was Rs 226.7 million.

However, the other income of the company has declined to Rs 3.9 million compared to Rs 12.4 million of the last FY.

The company with Rs 1.15 billion in paid-up capital has reserve fund of Rs 72.2 million. it has EPS of Rs 5.09 and net worth per share of Rs 106.29.

SEBON Reinstate Same Old Mantra; New Stock Exchange for Market Development

Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has reinstated its commitment of opening new stock exchange for the development of the domestic stock market
