3 Microfinance Companies in Merger Agreement

In a bid to become a big national level microfinance company, three listed microfinance companies including Mirmire Microfinance, Nagbeli Laghubitta and Kisan Microfinance have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) regarding a merger.

The MoU was signed by Tek Bahadur Bohra, Chairman of Mirmire, Deep Bahadur Shrestha of Nagbeli Laghubitta and Netra Prasad Joshi of Kisan Microfinance.

After the merger, the merged entity will have paid-up capital of Rs 390 million.

The companies are scheduled to announce about the merger on Tuesday by organizing a press conference.

Mirmire Microfinance, Nagbeli Laghubitta and Kisan Microfinance is headquartered at Banepa of Kavre, Birtamod of Jhapa and Baliya of Kailali respectively.
