Income of Nepal Telecom Decreases

The income of Nepal Telecom (NTC) has decreased by Rs 1.87 billion to Rs 9.98 billion in the third quarter of the current FY compared to Rs 11.85 billion of the corresponding period of the last FY.

In the third quarter of the current FY only, the company earned net profit of Rs 3.64 billion compared to Rs 4.37 billion of the last FY.

In the review period, the main source of income of the company, revenue from contract with customers has decreased by Rs 1.89 billion to Rs 27.5 billion. Such income was Rs 29.39 billion in the review period of the last FY. During the period, the company decreased its administrative and staff expenses.

In the review period, the company earned Rs 32.47 billion in total income compared to Rs 33.85 billion of the last FY.

The company with Rs 15 billion in paid-up capital has reserve fund of Rs 86.40 billion. The company has EPS of Rs 88.75, net worth per share of Rs 676.05 and P/E ratio of 7.02 times.
