SEBON Directs Hydro Companies to Submit Permission with IPO Proposal

Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has urged hydropower companies to submit permission from Electricity Regulation Commission along with IPO proposal.

In the backdrop of implementation of Electricity Regulation Commission Act 2074 and Electricity Regulation Commission Bylaws 2075 by Nepal Government , SEBON directed hydropower companies to obtain the permission before seeking approval for IPO from it.

SEBON believed that the step will protect the interest of investors and make the securities market more reliable.

NEPSE publishes list of 123 companies eligible for margin trading

Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has published a new list of listed companies eligible for margin trading. According to the chapter 3 (8)1 of the Margin Transaction Facility Procedure, 2082, NEPSE has qualified 123 companies for trading.
