Upper Tamakoshi to convene postponed AGM on July 16

Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Company is convening its postponed AGM on July 16. According to Bigyan Prasad Shrestha, CEO of the company, the board of directors meeting decided to conduct the postponed AGM on the day.

He informed that the company will publish a notice regarding the AGM on June 28. Earlier, the AGM of the company was postponed on June 26 due to short of a quorum.

As per a provision on Article of Association of the company, a quorum of at least 67 percent of ordinary shareholders is required to convene the AGM. On Wednesday, 51 percent of promoters and 56 percent of ordinary shareholders were presented for the AGM.
