Jul 22, 2019 02:19 PM Merolagani

Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has barred some BFIs from operating ASBA services citing non-payment of the renewal fee

Under the direction of SEBON, Central Depository System (CDSC) has stopped ASBA services of these companies.

Out of 63 ASBA members, seven members have still not renewed their membership. Due to which investors who are ASBA client to these BFIs have not been able to apply for any public issue including initial public offering, further public issue and right issue.

Given that Jebils Finance has already been acquired by Nepal Investment Bank, ASBA clients of Jebils Finance can apply for the public issue from Nepal Investment Bank.
