Sparsha Laghubitta Logs Attractive Profit

Sparsha Laghubitta (SPARS) has increased its net profit to Rs 15.6 million in the fourth quarter of the current FY compared to Rs 101,000 of the corresponding period of the last FY.

The company with Rs 82.9 million in paid-up capital has reserve fund of Rs 15.8 million. In the review period, the company collected deposit of Rs 166.7 million, borrowed Rs 685.8 million and extended loan of Rs 903.8 million.

During the period, the company collected net interest income of Rs 44.1 million and operating profit of Rs 228,000.

The company maintained EPS of Rs 18.82, net worth per share of Rs 119.08 and non-performing loan of 0.49 percent.
