NMB Bank and Om Development Starts Joint Transaction

NMB Bank (NMB)and Om Development Bank have started a joint transaction in the name of ‘NMB Bank’ from September 28.

Nepal Rastra Bank gave the final approval to the merger/acquisition of Om Development by NMB Bank on September 18.  Similarly, the banks acquired approval of Company Registrar Office for the merger/acquisition on September 22.

NMB Bank and Om Development finalized the merger/acquisition with a swap ratio of 100:76. After the merger, the number of branch of the bank has reached 163, ATM counters at 128 and extension counters at 5.

The SGM of NMB Bank (NMB) held on August 13 in Staff College, Jawalakhel at 11:30 AM endorsed a proposal of merging Om Development Bank with a swap ratio of 100:76.

NMB Bank had current paid-up capital of Rs 9.61 billion while Om Development Bank had paid-up capital of Rs 2.51 billion. The merged entity have a total paid-up capital of Rs 11.51 billion.
