Naya Nepal Laghubitta Doubles Net Profit

Naya Nepal Laghubitta (NNLB) has doubled its net profit to Rs 4.2 million in the first quarter of the current FY compared to Rs 2.1 million of the corresponding period of the last FY.

The company that tripled its paid-up capital to Rs 84 million from Rs 24 million in the review period has reserve fund of Rs 48.3 million.

During the period, the company collected deposit of Rs 170.8 million, borrowed Rs 782.4 million and extended loan of Rs 981.3 million. Through the fund mobilization, the company earned Rs 11.3 million in net interest income and operating profit of Rs 6.4 million.

The company has bad debt ratio of 1.15 percent, net worth per share of Rs 157.50, P.E ratio of 99.01 times and EPS of Rs 20.16.
