The companies are closing their books on November 13 for their respective AGMs, thus, the shareholders registered in their books till November 12 will be eligible to attend the AGMs and obtain the announced dividend.
Gurans Laghubitta is conducting its 4th AGM on November 30 in Dhankuta Bazar. The meeting will endorse a proposal of distributing 7.6291 percent stock and 0.4007 percent cash dividend to its shareholders.
Moreover, the AGM will delegate authority to BOD to carry out merger/acquisition with suitable partners. Similarly, the meeting will amend its article of association to meet the classification of microfinance companies as per NRB directive.
The company has current paid-up capital of Rs 77.5 million that will reach Rs 83.4 million after the bonus share distribution.
Similarly, Chilime Hydropower is conducting its 23rd AGM on November 27. The AGM is supposed to endorse a proposal of distributing 25 percent dividend including 20 percent stock and 5 percent cash dividend including tax to the shareholders.
