Himalayan Urja Bikas Company (HURJA) has earned a net profit of Rs 1 million in the first quarter of the current FY compared to the loss of Rs 235,000 of the corresponding period of the last FY.

Although the company has not produced electricity yet, it earned the net profit through income from other resources.

The company with Rs 990 million in paid-up capital has reserve loss of Rs 11.6 million. The company has Rs 1.69 billion long-term loans.

During the review period, the company earned Rs 1.8 million from other resources.

The company has EPS of Rs 0.11, P/E ratio of 980 times and net worth per share of Rs 98.83.
