Machhapuchchhre  Bank Logs Plain Growth in Net Profit

Machhapuchchhre  Bank (MBL) has increased its net profit by 1.16 percent to Rs 376 million in the first quarter of the current FY compared to Rs 371.6 million of the corresponding period of the last FY.

As per the financial report published under NFRS format, the bank has distributable profit of Rs 150.5 million.

The bank with Rs 8.45 billion in paid-up capital has reserve fund of Rs 2.06 billion and retained earnings of Rs 155.1 million.

During the period, the bank collected deposit of Rs 91.27 billion and extended loan of Rs 83.63 billion. Similarly, the bank earned net interest income of Rs 952.5 million.

During the review period, the bank maintained non-performing loan of 0.31 percent, EPS of Rs 17.78,  net worth per share of Rs 126.64 and P/E ratio of 12.60 times.
