Nepal Bank (NBL) has announced the first dividend of the last FY in the last 23 years. The board of directors meeting of the company held on November 17 decided to propose 25 percent dividend to its shareholders.
The bank will distribute 15 percent stock and 10 percent cash dividend to the shareholders. The proposed dividend is subjected to approval from NRB and its upcoming AGM.
The net profit of development banks has declined less compared to commercial banks and finance companies in the third quarter.
